Then sprinkle some <strong style=\"color:#f00;\">Turf &#038; Ornamental Weed &#038; Grass Stopper<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>Then place <strong style=\"color:#f00;\">weed barrier<\/strong> on the bare ground and tack it down with <strong style=\"color:#f00;\">staples<\/strong> so it stays in place. <strong style=\"color:#f00;\">Weed barrier<\/strong> keeps your mulch from getting muddy or sinking into the ground. <\/p>\n<p>After you&#8217;ve installed the <strong style=\"color:#f00;\">weed barrier<\/strong>, then apply your mulch keeping it 3 inches deep. A depth of 3 inches provides adequate insulation that helps protect your plants&#8217; roots in the hot summer and cold winter. <\/p>\n<p>You can also line the edges of your project with <strong style=\"color:#f00;\">steel or polyboard edging<\/strong>.
